Kneipp Gate – Double Helix
The public sculpture marking the Kneipp Park is a creative work of art of expertise by artist Nagy Csaba.
This special rest area of the Kneipp® and Nordic Walking Park was designed by the Bük-based Munkácsy award winning artist, Nagy Csaba.
This work of art was made from Corten steel and is intended to harmonise with nature, water and the environment. In addition to harmony, the purpose of this special work of art was also to pay a tribute to basket weaving, a tradition of the area flourishing a few decades ago. This theory is also underpinned by the tangled texture of the metallic framework which is going to be covered by climbing plants to make it look alive. Relaxation suitable for every generation is provided by four hanging metallic spheres.
