Répce Riverbank Fairy-tale Playground

Deák Park has become a unique playground that meets European standards in the region. In the playground, a series of animal-shaped swings and climbing frames await the youngest and slightly older children, evoking fairy tales about the Répce Riverbank. The playground equipment was inspired by the collection of Katalin Hetyésy and Lászlóné Sudár. The playthings have been installed on a cheerful, colourful and safe rubber mat, surrounded by deciduous saplings planted to replace the old evergreens. The planting of the trees was completed in November 2021, by which time the fence had already been erected. The 900-square-metre site is now open to local families and tourists.
